Foam longboard trouble

Postby JJB » Mon Aug 07, 2006 1:08 pm

Is it normal for foam longboards to be so slippery? Couldn't even paddle or stand properly nearly slipping all the time with the board's surface.

Jared.

as a beginner, i'd go for a bic or nsp. get a minimal around 7ft2. they are good to learn on and pretty indestructible. once youve got the basics then you could move onto a custom board :D

thats what i did anyhoo

KS

I think it was the build up of sweat, grime and moulted fur on the soles that made me lose the grip. Now i use a wax comb on the bottoms of my feet before i go out 8)
