Sagres or Porto

Has anyone surfed Portugal? I am trying to plan a trip and am wondering which town I should head to as a first time surfer. Thanks for any help!

It depends really on were your flying in to? I flew into Faro rented a Micra and Drove to Sagres , Carrapateira, Arrifana, Monte Clerigo. If your flying into Porto your gonna have a hell of a drive to get down that far south.
What i can say is tho we stayed at little local B&B`s which we found suburb clean with on suite. Also you could not wish to meet a more welcoming friendly people.

Hey there, Iam based on the Lisbon coast and this is a great area as there are waves 100% of the time. The crows is minimal and the waves are awsome. Let me know if you need help and I will be happy to reply
