good board for renting for begginners

Im August me my brother and a friend are down near Cornwall doing a 3 day surfing holiday.
After its finished we are staying an extra day or two to put in practise what we have learnt hopefully lol. Obviously we would be renting a board but we have no idea what we would be looking for. Hopefully our instructors would tell us what we want but if we forget to ask I would like to have a back up, anyway here are the details of us.

Im 6"5 12 1/2 stone, I dont know what that is in pounds,
My brother is about the same but nearer 6"4,
My friend is about 5"10 and of athletic built 9 1/2 - 10 stone ish

We are looking for boards which we can easily catch waves, which is why I put this topic in here as I guess we will be wanting long boards.

well if your a begginer u should a foam board with the one fin but jst ask ur instructer at the start of the lesson or when ur goin to rent it ask for advice-theyll probly know

probably an 8ft+ soft top depending on wear you rent it from there normaly around 25 pounds a day

erm yes! sorry I have terrible geography lol, cheers for the help I'm sure the instructors will say the best begginner board but no harm in asking now is there

and I have some good news for you, because I can't imagine that it would be anywhere near £25 for a day, I think it will be a lot cheaper.

One of my nearest hire shops is Surfers Paradise, their website is www.surfersparadise.co.uk . Now this is in cornwall, I know, but their website may give you some idea of prices. And as you'll see if you take a look, you can hire a tiki or swell board (which is a good choice for a beginner board) for £10 for 24 hours. Not bad, methinks.

10 squid for 24 hours that dose seem a reasonable price.

I have always loved the water and have done many water sports kayaking, sailing etc but the only one I have ever enjoyed is wind surfing but it just seemed like such hard work, and I figure why not giving surfing a go as I love extreme sports atm I mountain board which really really hurts but you know its great fun.
the only problem with surfing is that I live near Betchley park (about 20 minutes away from it) and as some may know it was home to the code breaking machine of WWll. Anyone know why it was a Bletchley? becasue it is the furthest away from any sea in Engalnd. Yer I know bummer, BUT! we are in England not USA which means surf is never that far away!!

the prices are geting higher, at surfed out it was either 25 for 1 day or 25 for 2days i cant rememba
