anyone put pics on magic seaweed?

it might be rubish for forcasting the surf, but they do get some good pics.
iv put some of me on bournmouth and boscombe (the first 2 at the top) and iv put some on croyed saunton ect.

if anyone looks rate them 5 for me :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

It's only rubbish for forcasting the surf if you don't know how to read the data supplied. Read the tutorials on the site then you will be able to combine the information provided with a bit of common sense and reap the rewards of a great forcasting site. Remember that the swell height is for offshore buoys not on the beach, you also need to note the swell direction.

Bingo Lardyarse!

Blue - You really do have to put a little effort in and use you noggin to get somthign in return. Ben has put in so much work into MSW's Interpretaion modle. up to 3 days its usually spot on. As with anything after that its only a general idea anyway.

You tell me the last time any forcast was spot on from 4-8days previously....

well i notmaly dont go surfing in boscombe unles magic sea weed sais 5ft
that will mean its 1ft
8ft will mean its 2-3ft
15ft it will probably be around 4-6ft
ect
i have figured this out its just ocasionaly it sais the swell is coming from the north, and silly things like that.
i do apreceate what he has done cas otherwise i would have to find another site to chek web cams, if you see him or know him say thanxs from me.

it all to do with what boeys are near with us our nearest boey is in south devon so its harder to predict the surf

Works fine for me in Portugal... as always a bit of an interpretation need to be spot specific. I get a fair idea now using data that I have previously recorded (eye and MSW) and cross referancing it with current data from MSW; Ben's site helps a lot. As for the photos Bluey, No...

The new nearshore WAM model is the bomb, you should check it out. Its still in teathing stages and doesn't account for wind degredation but its great for seeing the swell shadows.
