Uk surfing where to go?

Postby isaluteyou » Mon Jul 17, 2006 11:27 pm

This question isnt for me as i live in san diego on the beach 8) but my bro is sill in th uk and wants to take up surfing i have been down to cornwall/fistral bay on hols but is there anywhere a little closer he can go. He is currently south east uk (kentish area). The 7 hour drive to fistrall is a bit of a stretch anybody got a closer spot that is okay and not too far.

Thanks in advance

Depends on how keen he is to go surfing. There are some spots in that area that get surf i think DBBB will be able to say where but they just don't get the same frequency of surf.
