Ola,

My name is El Eye Am (or Liam), I am 26 and very new to the sport!! Me and a few mates from Broadstairs (and Dartford) took lessons in Newquay 2 years ago and vowed to go every year, alas, as always. we didnt go again until this summer but we vowsed again to do it again!!! I got my first board last week and raring to go again!!

Anyway, I am also a muscian but I am not bot going to spam here because its all about the surf!!

Be good to meet up people in the area so if your local (Dartford or Broadstairs, Kent), let us know!!

..did you find that your boarding helped with your surfing ?! .. cause im finding it totally different and my balance on a board is different to on a surfy :roll:

I think so, my stance is very similar & I reckon the whole balance thing helps. But I've only just gotten to grips with standing on the surfboard so can't really talk with much conviction! Will let you know when I'm a bit better!

well i get on ok on my snowy but seem to have mahoosive issues with my surfy .. so i guess it must just be me being crappola in the water still

Im male 22 live on the beach in san diego california, well i can literally throw a stone from my apartment and ill hit it :lol:

Im an experienced bodyboarder just learning to surf and basically im a beach bum / musician that barelly makes enough to pay the rent :oops:

figure i should do the whole introduction thing. im 23 i live 6 blocks from the beach in venice california. I just moved out here with my girlfriend and my guitar and just bought my first board a month ago. I'm just getting into surfing now and life in cali is def the good life. I'm a freelance character animator. Thats about it. Lata!
