Wow chezzeee you've just solved that in 1 post when for the last 4 years me and my drunken friends have talked, shouted, screamed and fought over the true relevence of their 'strange' relationship.

Next quandry is-------Pulp fiction is it all about the devil and his lot, using marcel wallaces plaster on the back of his neck as the lynch pin of my whole argument ( have heard somewhere that the devil takes your soul through the back of your neck) . And the shiny things in the suitcase is in fact the souls they have collected. Or shall I just stop puffing haze?

aaah my friends, that's the whole point in Pulp!

Stuff like when Samuel J talks about the shepard and the field and stuff is what makes the movie such a great all timer!

Makes you think because it is in different time sequences and gives you self satasfaction when you put the pieces together. (Ok it's just that I think Quentin is the cleverest director ever)

 ok...I'm finished!

i think the plaster on marcell's neck is a nod at the religous aspect but a bro in bigsmoke told me that it can also be applied to slavery as black slaves were cut accross the backs of their necks as a brand mark ..apparentely :? ..
ahh the case .. well if you see one particular interview with mr. Tarantino, he said that the reason they didnt just use gold n such was because "we" would expect that, so to not show what was in the case lead human nature to be more intrigued by it 8) but he did also remark that if you want it to be souls then it could be !

I myself think it was a large piece of mature cheddar cheeZe that had Bad Mutha Flesher stamped on it
