Never was much into the power ranger look. In the summer, I ride with a T shirt, jeans, and boots. In the winter when the temps drop into the fridgid 50's, I'll break out the old beat up biker jacket.

Thanks, and damn that does look fun.

I've been wanting to get a jet ski, but my wife says I already have too many hobbies.

wow, bikes on a surf forum... surfing I'm okay at... bikes I can really do...

At the age of 16 (nearly) a DT50

Then a gp100 to pass my part I and II (showing my age)

Then a ypvs350 (pop!)

Then a cbr6 jelly mould (oops, broke that one)

Then another cbr6

then a klx650 while I rebuilt the second broken cbr

then back to the cbr6

then a zx9

now thinking 'what next?'

yeh man ..im always up for a rip .. tank only holds like 7ltrs so i'd have to stop a heap of times getting to ya .. but that gives the old air-cooled time to cooool off !!

Tyres ?" ...ahh just some cheap'ish medium compounds, i brought a nice soft sticky tyre last summer but it only lasted 4weeks  and at a £100+ a pop ..that just aint do-able for my wallet
These things seem ok, just take a bit of warming up before i can cane the corners proper like  :D

Deathfrog,
my advice would be to learn on somthing small and untidy, this is because we all made mistakes when we first rode, and its a shame to drop somthing new. Once you have learned the basic's and built up confidence then go get a bigger and better bike..
I would suggest a Suzuki bandit 600cc or similar, good solid bikes, great for scratching and touring, it's up to you what type of bike you want to ride. If you find anything let us know....

Stay safe and Upright....
