 I'm afraid I'm one of those 'weekend charlies' cos I work from 05:30 to 19:30 mon to fri and only started to learn to surf at the beginning of feb (damn that was cold force 9 and -2C ouch) and in mid July my employer is sending me to Dubai until the end of Sept, anyone been there or know what kind of surf I might find? Also how can i take my 7'4" zuma with me?

I was there several years ago and I think you can surf at Jumeirah Beach - down from the famous hotel.

Don't think it ever gets very big so you MAY struggle on a 7'4.

Could be worth investing in a cheap South Point or Bic 9'0 or 9'6" to take with you. Then it won't get dinged up on the plane too which your custom may.
