Hi all :D

I thought i'd create a thread for all the bikey people out there.
On or off roaders and anything inbetween welcome!

Post your piccies , your stories etc etc .. my bief history is .. passed my test in 1988 and have had a bike eversince ..and several injuries lol

I'll post some piccies soon but for now heres my roll call of two wheeled menaces from first to present !!:

Kawasaki AR50 with a bigbore kit that increased mph from 33 to 36  ..ahh well it was a lot in those dayz lol

Suzuki 125X ..with bigbore kit on it  ... still holds the local record for laptime in Yeovil .. no one else was stupid enough to go the wrong way up the one way street in order to win an invisible title ..well somebody was

Kawasaki KLR 650 .. a big old plodder that had the power to pull a caravan ... and yes i did test that marketing info'

Suzuki RG500 x2 .. the king of all two strokes .. a lethal machine that anyone who knows the rep knows a guy that died or nearly died on them !. I had two ..and wrote off two !! ..the story of the first is impressive in idiot land .. we'll get to that another day

FZ600 .. grey import that was royal pain in the arse but a fun bike untill it nuked coils for a hobby.

FZR 750 ... a hell of a bike for its time and they slide nicely under parked cars  ..always replace brake pads and discs cause when it comes down to it .. you aint stopping a 750 with your feet like flinstones stylee

RD350LC .. another prince of two strokes and the original nutters bike ... screamed like a banshee and wheelied like it only really needed one wheel to get you about

VFR400 , CBR400 , GSX400 ..all cheap and cheerfull grey imports that make for good fun as pocket rockets have ultimate manouverability at speed ... VFR was my favourite .. sexy lil'bike that was  8)

and up to the present which is my sporty killer  .. CCM600 race tuned and fiddled Supermototard .. ( for those not knowing, basically a motocrosser with road wheels) .. i have been shunned by the local bikey fraternity even though it is well documented that i love my sporties !! but i guess its annoying when youve spent 10k on a sports bike and 3k on your leathers and 1k on your lid and your hitting into a bend a 100mph with your knee down pretending to be Valentino ..when all of a sudden this 'pod-racer sounding thing comes on the outside of ya .. bolt upright with a foot down speedway stylee ..and then procceeds to kick your ass ..untill you get back on a straight  :P

well thats my history of all things two wheeled untill my bro gives up trying to nail me on buying his ZXR750 .. then i'll have new stories !!

post up all ... post up  :D ...CheeZer

Happy dayz ..much to my annoyance ive never been to a TT' , or more to the point i wasnt allowed to go to hte TT' for a few years it was assumed i'd die for sure on the public rant days

Not ever had a bigger bike than a 750 as the riding style changes massively if you want to stay alive at speed .. borrowed a big old terminator stylee 1100 chopper when i was in Greece but hated it .. i kept drifting off to sleep cause the seat was like a fleshing armchair lol

" Fair shout & tipping my hat to ya on the track day bizniz bro 8) ... i would love to do a sport track day more than supermotard .. i think im a little bit more sensible on a sporty than this thing  ... in fact it is still on my wish list just to see if i had the balls to take it to the limit and see if there could be any kind of racing future for me ..well not now i guess, 35 a bit old to start trying to get through the ranks but it still bothers me .. hmm always put track days out of my head because i couldnt afford the set-up but im guessing now you can use a track bike etc all in one fee ?? ...

My mate delayed the start of the TT a few year's ago cos he crashed his bike on the way to breakfast, leaving entire contents of petrol tank over the road and he ended up going through a hedge. We saw the Cement powder plus hole in hedge on tv. Very funny, he was ok but had a bruised pride.....

There are companys that hire out track bikes , £250.00 is about going rate. Like to use my own bikes cos not to many places that you can ride at 180mph without getting nicked....

My bro has an oldskool offroad trike-they banned them years ago cos they keep trying to fall over(killing 1 or 3 farmers in the process), but by christ is it fun to rag around my parents woods-well get some photies this weekend of our awesome track.
I own 1/2 shares in a racing quad does 80mph flat out, although that doesnt sound fast to you bike heads it is when your going across a field.
The sweet thing about having more than 2 wheels is you can get away without all that bulky protection

My bikes were more armchair comfort than racing;

Honda CX500 custom
Yamaha Virago 1000

I've got a Piaggio T5 and an old CX500 in my garage which havent seen the light of day for years

I crashed the Virago and ended up with 14 screws and 2 metal plates in my leg.......dont ride anymore :?

Yamaha BW when I was 16, that got nicked twice (got it back the first time, twas nicked in town and left at the top of a carpark, the second time was from 3 foot away from my front door, never saw it again).

Next one was a Peugot Vivacity 50cc to replace the BW

Next one was a Peugot Speedfight 125 - used to love pissing cars off with that one (go as slow as a standard 50cc and then when the car was about to overtake, open up the throttle and bugger off down the road)

Next one was a Gilera Cougar (125 Harley look a like thing). Pile of shite!!

Then decided that I was fed up of not being able to listen to music, getting wet even with waterproofs and sliding all over the place when I was going a bit too fast around corners, so sold the Cougar and bought my first car :D

ROFL!!! Should have bloody anticipated that one! I was gonna add 'still doing the same but on four wheels now...'. Bugger!!

Yeah... Gilera... worst mistake ever!! Still, offloaded it 18 months later to some muppet who paid £1000 for it - fully inclusive of rusty chrome, needing a new chain, needing new tyres... It was a heap
