I was clearing out the vechicle shed at work last year and came accross a fasinating spider. longish defined jet black legs with a average sized abdermond but with a red squiddle down it.
I let it go in the hedge and later the following week I saw a picture of a Black Widow. It was exactly the same as the one I'd found!!! :O:O No joke and its still loose out there somewhere.

It doesn't supprise me cause its so warm with the micro climate down here in the morte village valley...

Hey that reminds me of a time when I was 'making love' to a girl in a beach bungalow in Thailand.

The bed was below the window and the window was open.........the lucky girl had her hands out the window and all of a sudden let out a scream............she'd been bitten by something, but we couldnt figure out whether it was a rat, bat or spider.

She didnt die, but she did say I was amazing :D

I was chatting to an Aussie bloke a while back, and said that one of my fave hobbies is sucking spiders up the hoover (Dyson jobbie with a clear bucket, you can sit and watch the spider whizz round and round for ages). He said that he'd walked into his loo and spooted a big huntsman sitting on the loo roll. I didnt know how big they were, so googled it and nearly shat myself.
