Surfing in the UK without a car

Hi all,

I've just started surfing & have fully got the surf bug & wanna go more! However, I don't have a car so am reliant on people who do.

Can anyone please suggest good places to go to on my own without having to drive & that are reasonably easy to get to from London?

Join the London Surf Club - they operate a car share thingy.

If there's surf, someone will be going on a trip somewhere and if you can get in quick you can blag a ride (share petrol costs etc).

You've got to be fairly committed though - they're all about driving thru the night, sleeping in cars etc, but they do organise more civilised trips too


Cant say a lot about them as I only recently met them, but if you're searching for a ride, that'd be the best place to start.
