ahh my boarding buddies came out of the mountains for the summer season in Hossegor last year :D

All good bro .. depending where you are to how dangerous but the main beaches do dump right on the sand !! .. and like a 6ft'er right on the sand so you can get slammed pretty bad if you dont have the ability .. two of them did and stayed out back but scott isnt as good so i think it scared him a bit cause he got rag dolled trying to get out of the liquid !! .
They all had a wicked time ...spent little money just camping here and there, drank heaps of cheap but quality brews, met a lot of real friendly local surfers that didnt have localism issues ...so all in all a good few months spent ..i'll get some info from him if you'd like .. you know ..usefull campsites etc .. the names of beaches that'll slam ya and some that wont

" in his words a text ive saved from then ... " F*** me cheezee, you need a tow-in just to get a bucket of water for your sand castle " ...lmao ... :D

Check out these shots - it can be plenty dangerous in Hossegor if you don't know what you are doing, you can get some full on hold downs when it gets big, and its always powerful.

excellent shots 'seeker .. yeh see thats the killer .. their so close to each other right on the beach that if you go under you can be down there for a while and the backwash is just as lethal as it drags you back under the next wave breaking   ..bit hardcore but like 4G did, i 'd suggest going with some locals/surfschool unless your on one of the more gentle beaches ..and there arent many apparentely !!

:D
