Sounds like the same delivery company Jenny used for her Al Merrick!

So, basically they backed into your Saab "Animal"?

Unlucky!

My delivery man wrecked my board but a car is in different league!!

Take comfort in the fact that i share your hatred of reckless delivery men.

morning ! "

...pales in comparison to Thayas week but thanks all :D

the Saabster is sat outside looking all bare and battered ... starting the whole insurance ball rolling this morning but technically the cars a write off and its only worth a few quid so's im gonna get a cheque eventually but not enough to get a new car ..and certainly not enough to get a Saabturbo for the same money i paid for that one :( it was a favour from my old kickboxing coach and she was kinda a ltd one off from back in the day .
Its only a car .. metal n plastic but you gets attached to realible things in life cause so much isnt i guess ! ...

To tell the truth whats really p***ing me off is that i'd been driving around since the meet proudly displaying Dbbb's meet logo and it was cool having peeps lean over my car to read it 8)

p.s .. lmao .. phil & timmo

ah cheezzee this is really bad news....

And I liked that car so much - it was a real treasure.

At least you've got a new camera so you can take a few last pictures...

hope it gets all sorted soon and by some wierd twist of fate you end up with an even better car :D

Bad " ... the whole rear bumper ripped off and all the housing .. twisted the rear paneling , scratched all the paintwork up one side and some axle damage .. basically the insurers have said that they wont repair as its the more expensive option so it'll be written off more than likely :(

I think it is only fitting to have a true Viking burial for her ( minus shoving her into the sea! ) ...So, if at some point your in the S'W and you see a huge black plume of smoke on the horizon .. no its not one of Kitey's bbq's, it'll be the Saabtastica polluting the atmosphere one last time :P

" Saabtastica ... 1990- 2006 a much loved mechanical friend ...with heated seats 8) 8)

After they've written it off, ask if you can buy it back off them to repair yourself!!

Wait...that means you have to pay to get your car back?

NO, just take it. Get a pick-up truck and put it back in your garage and start a long repair!

Well they give you the money for writing it off...........and then you can normally buy it for a fraction of the write off price.

And fix it with the money they've given you!!

If you get a car repaired on the insurance, the repairer adds on a huge whack cos they know the insurance company will pay............if you pay cash, it's a fraction of that!!

 .. i fleshing forgot you can do that , nice one pat :D :D :D

I dont think i'll be driving her again as the old turbo is taking like 150-200quid in fuel a month just to get me to work and back  but it would be real nice to have it to restore as there arent many left that ive seen ..not that model anywayz 8) ..i guess all the geography/history teachers moved abroad with theirs lol

"Cool as flesh .. the funeral pyre has been extinguished and their is a chance of a new lease of life for Saabitha :P

Cheezee man i feel your pain!
Have you ever considered a Volvo-cheap as chips yet still maintain an air of geography teacher about them + the big oldskoll estates would make an excellent surfwagon/mobile green house/mini lorry!
