What can you not live without?

Postby hvt105 » Wed Jul 12, 2006 11:02 pm

Just as a random Q, what can you not live without, or as another version... If you were stranded on a desert island and could take only one thing with you, what would it be? Oh and you're not allowed to say your board :P

Strange first post, but anyway I would probably take a plane so I could fly off the island

But... But... Desert Island?? Lots of sea?? and no board??? Damn, what else is there in life?!!
Difficult question, but I reckon, board excluded. it would have to be my MP3 player completly loaded with all my music collection... Yeah, for me, music and surfing make the world go round. :D

i was assuming that being that i am pretty much inseperable from my board that there wud be no chance of me getting marooned on a desert island without it anyway. so lets rephrase the Q... u already have your board, so you can of course do a bit of surfing here and there to keep urself happy, what else wud you take with you?

lol, plane is definately sensible i suppose :P

i personally wud have gone for music 2 tho

(and im bored and i thought it was a gd 1st Q post :P )

cant live without sex - so assuming i am there on my own it would have to suffice in the form of self-entertainment. Otherwise I'd take a fit bloke with me for company :D

A big toolbox filled with all the tools I would need to make a board out of a tree or something.

Yes...Resin, foam, and all other sorts of stuff.

Occasionly I do find the odd melted block of wax in it...it's a b:edit: to get out. Stays stuck at the bottom and makes everything else al goeey.

I've given up worrying about such things. Everything i own has got either sand, surfboard dust or seaweed, on it, in it or plastered all over it!

hahah, yea I kinda know the feeling!

There is a whole part of my house "designated" to surf and beach. (IE if you go in there expect to crawl through 8 boards...lots of slippy wax, the occaisonal towel and half of my local beach is there just in sand!)
