pointers needed for a beginner (portugal/spain)

Hey!

I´m a beginner with a huge hunger for surf. I tried to surf a little bit when I was in Brazil last january and now I really want to learn how to do it.
I´m planning to go surfing this summer, either in Portugal or Spain. I would like to know where I can find the best weaves for less experienced surfers, like me. I would kill for advice and pointers on accommondation, boardhire, surfschools and other good-stuff-to-know.
