Lessons in New Jersey?

I live in upper nj but i go to the beaches frequently and am DIEING to learn how to surf. If anyone knows of where i could get lessons that'd be great cuz ,,,, well i suck

Depends on what beach you go to.. Hook, Belmar, Point, Lavalette, Seaside, LBI, Cedars, Cape..

Whole mess of surf shops up and down.. some better than others.

Lavalette, Seaside for the most part. Brick ortly seaside park all in that area
any suggestions or know of any places that give lessons?
or know a friend who wants to make some extra money?

In Lavalette, go to Ocean Hut Surf Shop and ask For Tony G. Talk to him (he's the owner).

Tell him Rich, the guy he only sees once or twice a season since I moved out of OB 10 years ago, sent you.
