i think you should try the ducktape and let us know how you get on...and take some pictures too!

I saw someone wearing some once with elastic round them, like a strap going round the back of his head. They stayed on him, but I noticed he had to keep wiping them , the water mists up the lenses I guess.

Ive got some seaspecs click here

They stay on with no problem, even when wiping out, but they do mist up :?

But after a full day in the sun, it can make the difference between being able to go out for an evening session and not so they're worth having.

Yea, I bought some SeaSpecs too. They are great for small sunset days, but when it gets bigger they push up on my face and I feel like I'm going to lose them!

Probably worth the money

I never reaaly thought about wearing sunnies but sometimes i wear a cap out...it usually falls off when I wipe out but it floats and is pretty easy to find again...its worth it to keep the sun out of ya eyes while ya in the line up.

I was out today with a mate who had pescription glasses on... despite some pretty hard-hitting waves, she never once had a problem with them at all... It only struck me she was wearing glasses when we got out. I'll find out what she was using if anyone's still interested.

The elasticated band are called shade-savers or sommat, they're like a elastic strap with a sleeve at each end that goes over the arms. They suck.

I bought a cheap £5 pair from a shop (think it was in Croyde) and wore them out on the sea. i found that provided the arms grip tight enough, and you're quick enough to put one hand on your face when you initaly ditch (think one hand on your mask, stepping in while scuba diving) they tend to stay with you.

Well its not gonna help you win any style points but how about some goggles. Dont they make them in the tinted variety?
