I am sailing to one of the other islands where supposedly there is no surf and plan to sail all the way around over a week with my wife. We are taking our boards so I will keep you posted if we discover the next J-Bay (I wish....)

I finish in an hour and plan to be paddeling out in 2 hours max to see if the nice swell that is predicted has arrived yet, same swell looks like it's gonna hit ireleand and uk even bigger though...

Peace.
Ozzie.

we're off to Cosat Rica for just over ten days. ALWAYS wanted to go there so bit of a once in a lifetime dream holiday for us really.

Sounds like heaven - perfect 4foot-ish waves, warm water, great food, great people. What more do you need?

Not sure whether to take my board or not though - my wife & I both being longboarders makes traveling with your boards a pain in the @rse. No tlike a small, light 6 foot shortboard.

But then I don't want to end up spending half my holiday trying to find a decent stick.

Any suggestions??
