Postby trails surfing » Tue Jul 04, 2006 4:58 pm

i got a byb surfboard for my birthday. so i went to take it out surfing yesterday, but i couldn't get the wax to stick since it's a gray board and it got too hot. so what i'm wondering is does anyone have a byb board, and how are these boards?

Put the right temp wax on inside and don't leave your board out in the sun.

Cool the board down in the water before you put it on.

And use a base-coat (ie hard wax, for very warm water)
