andy irons allways seems to come across as a right prick theres a few good videos of him on surf line droping in on people at pipeline

That "letting go" movie about Slater made Irons out to look like a whiney little girl...

I know Taj is good but Ive never seen him surf anything over 10ft. Ive seen kelly get towed in at Jaws.

Taj has surfed some big waves, way over 10ft!! lol. You can see it in his book and online

when was the last time Laird Hamilton was on the WCT?.. He's too busy filming movies about how he was the "first" to do something.... What an ego....

LOL! If you wanna talk ego you should see some of the behind the scenes stuff from the WCT. Scarey, shockin.

So you subscribe to the train of thought that says "if you aren't on the WCT you aren't a great surfer"?

So you surf to beat other people and feed your ego?

What about Eddie Aikau? And the other names I listed?

I implore all of you - look at why you surf. Think carefully about the kind of surfing you respect and enjoy.

Then think about what makes a great surfer. And ask yourself why you are so eager to cave into the images force-fed to you by corporate giants. What are their motives for doing this?
