Sticking stickers to your surfboard.

Sticker link

I'm guessing it's proably not waterproof - is there any way of making it so? Are there any drawbacks to covering a surfboard in stickers? (Apart from the obvious risk of looking like a nob if you do it tastelessly!) :D

surely, wouldn't the sticker easily peal off when you get it in the water if you have stuck it over a ding?

I put three stickers on this fish.
I don't cover up dings with them, I was just board.
They havn't come off yet, but I don't really use that board much anymore.

It's pretty simple.

Scrape the wax off the area.

Then clean the area with wax remover/acetone.

As soon as it's dry put the sticker on.

Not too different to paint. Should last years.

Funny enough today, some guy was surfing this longboard without a leash and his board came flying onto the shore when he wiped out. So when I was paddling out I caught his board for him and notice this huge 'animal' sticker going across the board along with some other smaler stickers. So other surfers tend to use stickers to make their board look better too
