I don't have a top five and I am not into surf vids really - to be honest I'd rather watch a good skate vid - much more entertaining. I watched this vid preview starring Rodney Mullen yesterday on Fuel, the guy is incredible - as an ex skater I was blown away.
Anyways, my #1 surf vid is Momentum and mainly because of the classic get you pumped for a surf soundtrack and the memories that I have of that time surfing with my mates (mostly in north sea uk crap)

I thought Drive through Europe was rubbish. I don't want to see surfers driving around small streets and crashing their camper van - let's see some nice waves.
(I am sure it was Drive through Europe - it could have been my last car hire experience)

I'm ashamed to say that ive only got one surfing dvd but thats generally because the decent looking ones are kinda expensive ...as opposed to ooh lets say ... a volume of the Simpsons

anyone make suggest quality viewing dvd's that dont cost the earth then im listening !.... :D

Step into liquid is pretty cheap... But you get what you pay for.. Personally I'd rather watch fat barrels than cartoons. Plus the Simpson's don't get me pumped to surf..

I enjoyed "Surfers The Movie" and "Surfers, Take Two" by Bill Delaney. Great storytelling. Great filmmaking. I hear it may be re-released in the not too distant future...

This week in no order:

  • Sprout
  • Singlefin: Yellow
  • Crystal Voyager
  • Endless Summer I
  • Tribology of Style - or the three within  ; thanks for reminding me Mr dougirwin13. I am still to watch/get my hands on a copy... My mother has tryed to buy it online for me but they won't ship it directly to me in Portugal ie. outside of Australia... but then she is limited when it comes to buying things on the internet, 10 points for her though for trying... when I next come home I will hunt myself down a copy.
