I know this is a long shot, but does anyone know if it is possible to surf in this chinese beach city? I'm going there on a trip with the family and would like to be able to surf. Google hasn't turned up much at all.

yea, I checked there already. there wasn't anything near Dalian listed. Not too many spots in China in general on that site.

You may be able to get some strong SSW swell, but I don't really know.

It will probably be mostly local wind swell, if anything.

People surf lakes, so I 'm sure you could surf there. However, I don't know how often the right conditions come together...
