I live in Exeter but surf quite regularly in North Devon (Saunton, Croyde etc). I only took up surfing a few months ago so still learning. I am quite keen and try to go whenever there is some reasonable surf although at the moment I pretty much go in anything messy or clean
I quite often take the odd day off from work to get in some surfing and quite often I end up going on my own so if anyone is heading on up there (or down there depending on your direction) let me know.
Anyway, that's the formalities out the way. I do have a question (yes yes I can hear the groans).
A friend of mine (who lives in Soton but used to live down here) says he used to go to bantham to surf. Anyone know if its any good there? I keep seeing reports that the south coast is pretty lame compared to the North so I don't bother.
