OMG, Dont trust your friends.

Okay so basically I got a zap pro as a gift from my mom..My friend matt says he wants to borrow it for today... we were both going to different beaches, but I let him... I have known him for years. He comes back today with a board snapped in half, HOW HE DID IT I have no idea... can a skim board like that snap in half?!?! I dont beleive his story - "I was riding towards a wave jumped it, and totally crashed... I lost the board for a second and when I found it, it was broken"... what bs! I think he had to freakin run over it for it a board like that... Well basically my mom spend $300 on me and I trusted a friend, that refuses to pay for the board. My mom doesn't know yet... I dont wanna be in trouble... heh...

*DONT TRUST YOUR FRIENDS, :(*

If he's a real mate he would pay up and wouldn't have made up some bull story about losing it for a minute

He's not your friend, I'd write him off if I were you. You definitely can do without him.

chill out man, you let him borrow it, don't try to put the blame on someone else.... my friend busted my camera recently, if he's gunna pay for it he's a good friend, if not, just don't let him borrow anything again.

he was probally trying airs and landed in the middle, or it went over the falls on some heavy shorebreak, zaps aren't the most durable boards around either...doesen't mean they're not overpriced.

If you're looking for something new look into vic or exile, or I could do something custom for you if you'd be interested.

without wanting to sound like a know-everything older guy...one of life's most valuable lessons has been learned here.

Unless you really don't care about the item...never lend your toys or borrow your friends - it always ends up in tears, broken toys & damaged friendships. Like lending or borrowing money between friends...it'll always go bad. It just always does...

Sorry for you :-(

Dont be so mean Brent!

So he borrowed it and he broke it, that sucks but he didnt do it on purpose and like DF said, things do break pretty easy.

I agree that he's being a bit of a d*ck refusing to pay, but still sharing toys is all part of the fun!

Maybe next time lend stuff but with a jokey *if you ding it you replace it*.
