I worked near Oban for a bit (little place called Onich) - it's gorgeous up there. I grew up in the north east near Durham, then moved to Manchester (and a few other places in between) but now live in Surrey. Enjoying the weather down here at the moment (but I hear it's actually half decent up north too - makes a change!)

I'm working up in the Hebrides for a week this summer as a research assistant on the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trusts research vessel Silurian. Me and my Dad went up after i finished my A levels for a week on Mull, mainly for me to go whale watching. Didn't see anything other than the odd harbour porpoise but fell in love with Oban and Mull. I jump on the boat at Tobermory and then cruise around for a week monitoring whales, dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks etc - cannot fleshin' wait :D

8) Has any gnarly local ever told you to "get back to the valley man!" that would totally make my day if I ever heard anyone say that for real :D .

Santa Ana, California.

20 minutes from Huntington Beach. Wished I live closer but the price of homes along the coast is just ridiculous.
