I bought this Mac mini so I could travel with it instead of forking out for a powerbook. Just rock up at an internet cafe and plug it in, or like I did in Bali last year, buy a second hand screen for £20 for use in the hotel room watching 50p DVD's and then leave it there when you leave!!

I gotta agree the G5 imac is the perfect all in one machine!!

I dont find this one too much hassle to cart around. I take it into work with me on Saturday nights so we can hook up to the wireless connection/watch dvd's or listen to iTunes.

Then again, its not the kind of thing id put in a suitcase and take on holiday lol.

I think it depends on your pronounciation 8)

If you pronounce it with the emphasis on the MAC it doesnt sound too much like the burger version

But now that you've pointed it out, it is a bit of a naff name :D

Yeah....doing a bit of music.......well, I spend more time working my ass off to pay for my gear than actually making music :?

One day though I'll be able to devote most of my time to smoking loads of dope and making tunes :D

Yeah, Macs are PC's now .........except a lot better :D :D :D

I used PCs for 15 years and thought I was gonna have trouble adjusting to the Mac way of life ;) But nope, was bloody easy! I find its actually more user friendly than Windows.

And its NEVER crashed on me, no matter what I'm doing. That was worth buying it for alone lol.
