I need help with surfing questions

hello, i have just becomed insterested in surfing, and i would like to start to surf but i don't know how . I have a few questions and it would be great if you could answer them for me .

Q.1: Do you have any tips for some one whos going to start to surf ?

Q.2:What type of board would you recoment to a beginner who weighs 104 lbs. and whos 1,55 tall ??

Q.3: Are there any beaches in South Carolina with sharks ?

If other surfers are out at the breaks you are planning to surf then all shoud be ok. If in doubt ask some local surfers.

hey for a board for u that might b nice is a bic 7'3 if u want a short board or if ur interested in longboarding mayb a bic 9 footer........but its up to u!! good luck
