Well, see a specialist, I did.

I hit the reef with my 6'4" and cracked the nose very similarly to yours. I got a specialist to repair it, but nows its a 6'1"

how much did it cost you to get it fixed? i think i have found someone to fix it but i want to make sure im not getting ripped off...and yer i dont think there is much point in sueing the company but they will be paying out insurance for it to be fixed no matter what.

thats the thing though, i live inland and there is only one place in a 50 mile radius that can fix it, even then they are going to have to send it off. So i cant really ask around and find the best price. Thanks for the advice anyways.

I would say its worth researching on the internet to find shops/shapers close enough to you.

I still think its worth a long drive to get it fixed...or take legal action with that kook that threw it (and his company)

well it could be worse, if that had been me recieving that board i would probably be on a gbh charge and clothes covered in couriers' blood as well as having a broken surfboard.

My bro broke the nose completely off his board and had it fixed by a local shaper here, didnt cost too much and did a really good job.

My pleasure Jennie, hope to see ya surfing on it soon. Oh i fixed all the other little dings, removed all the wax and gave the board an all over clean up as well.

You should do DBB it's very rewarding sorting out boards. There's been 6 boards gone through the shaping shack this week only 1 of which was mine!
Pat's new board is up next, got itchy fingers again and they're already reaching out for that saw and plane! :D

Damn that sucks most bad. Seems you people on the other side of the ocean have a really bad time with delivery people.

Are you not allowed to own or carry a gun in England?
