I was wondering about making a surfboard myself... But I got some problems... Does anyone know how to calculate Floatation and the curvature of the bottom ?

get yourself a blank. they cost about 150 english notes.
Floatation and rocker are affected by differnt kinds of waves but i to size it correctly takes years of experience.

I think youve just gotta have a go first time round see how it surfs and modify from there.

look at a few videos
glassing 101 and shaping 101 these should help

cool, im gonna make my own board when i have saved some moolah, im going to paint it bright green and pink and write "fear is good, it means youre still alive" on it in black. its going to be wicked.

A blank for 150 quid??? you could get 4 blanks for that, you would get the entire kit for around 130 quid, that includes everything you need to make it, except experiance.
