what does everybody here do postsurf?

After surfing sunday i got out the beach caster, had a smoke and fished till just past dark which was with out doubt the coolest thing ive done after some nice waves. :D+ Good surf conditions just so happen to be excellent bass fishing conditions (i caught 2).

Anybody here have some sort of post surf ritual?

Depends where I am, but normally food then beer! If I'm camping I'll throw some steak or chicken on the barbecue and crack open a cold one!

Either that or a fat pub lunch followed by an evening or drunkeness.

Beer! Seems to be the universal post-anything aussie tradition. Works for me!

Depends on where I am. In the UK its definatley down the pub for a pint if its cold, or a Corona if its hot. In NZ in the summer it would usually be a sunbathe before another surf, and in the winter here the best post surf thing to do here is head down to the saltwater hotspring pools and have a hot soak mmmmmmm

After a surf............a big feed, a protein shake and a sleep.

And then another surf 8)

But fishing whilst stoned sounds great. I'm definately gonna give that a try!

Usually slip down a cold bevvie

winter=guiness in the pub,
summer = Corona, Kronenberg Blanc, sol or hoegarden on the beach, maybe with a sneaky joint on the sly.

or if im on dawn patrol cuppa tea goes down well accompanied by anything with marmite on.

I have to say that now if i can find a quiet spot where no kids will push me over, i try and do a few yoga moves...absolutely perfect for streching out, ready for the next session.

hmmm bought some the other day and not my bag, tastes wrong.
Corona, Coors, Tiger, Tsing Tau, and Cobra on the other hand tho :D ...
...and Vodka and Sambuka and some Red Bull in there somewhere, and maybe some Tequila (TVRs anyone!) :twisted: erm then maybe a bit of Absinth if its a particularly 'odd' night we're after :lol: . Oh actually thats not exactly 'post surf' as such, its more sort of "wahay the worlds gonna end tomorrow lets get fleshed!" type material.
So back to answering the question - probs just 1-2 Coronas, to wash down the BBQ 8) , don't wanna overdo it, might get up for the early :D !

most of the time when iv surf, i have to get out of my wet suit, in to the cold night, then walk through town, to the bus station, then argue with the bus driver, prooving in 14, then have about a half hour 45 min jorney home, then have to warm up me T cas im late. for me after the surfing is the worst.
