Yep, they are using the wrong addresses.

Orbital, you need the location of the file not just the page. It should end in .jpg

OK, local spots.

In order of preference.

Naturally the last one is closest to home and the first is furtherest away.

those are some nice spots. i think the best places to surf have got to be indonesia, australia, hawaii, and the southern california.

Those are all when there's solid groundswell :) On weekends I often head south for 30 minutes drive to...

In preference order, of course :)

Any other "Sozzies" (South Aussies) round here who surf those?

I will graciously retract that statement. I meant only the Australians that I have met, or have seen on T.V.

I surf at Tynemouth Longsands. In the UK
Its ok i guess some days can be awesome, others just leave you totally depressed
Spring tide at the moment though so the waves are HUGE!! (Well for the UK anyway)

Here are some pics from ocean beach san diego(on a good day - sucks right now)

The next one is from sunset cliffs which is where i go pretty frequently

Image

Overall not a bad spot but closes out when the surf hits 10ft+ More often than not the best waves come in on the reef side of the pier. I liove sunsett cliffs but its a danger to surf there unless you know the local reef well.
