Ok, why do you use this forum, and what would keep you using it?

hmmm why do i use the forum .. i know it seems as if im here for other purposes and most of them are comedy based but for real ..i do listen to all the guys for tips etc and have learnt a lot about surfing in general but i guess as much as the surfing im personally here because surfers or anyone for that matter that loves the sea , seem to have lifestyle idealls based around a belonging to nature that i kinda "get with "

The information and the stories are great. I don't post too much as I do know how to follow directions and search for answers to most of my questions. As I am new to surfing I try to absorb as much information as possible.

I enjoy answering questions and generally having a read when I can't get out there to do it.

What a brilliant answer!

I love that I found a bunch of people here who also connect with all those things that make someone a wannabe surfer.

I love the sea! And I love how you do too.

I love that euphoric feeling of boyancy. And I love that you do too!

I love that feeling of controlling your body and coordinating elements of speed, direction, balance, and trim along with extreme mental focus and clarity ... and then actually attaining this extraordinary state where you are floating atop a moving form of water!!!

And I KNOW you love that too!!

It's like, we're actually putting our mind, body, and soul to its optimum use. Like we're given this extraordinary gift of life and like... we surfers are getting the utmost use out of it. Hay! Fun!

I'm learning a tonne from all you folks and all these answers.
I'm getting heaps of encouragement from realising I'm not the only one going through the tough learning phases...
It helps me persevere with all this.
And it's nice to realise people are really nice too.

Meanies are a turn off and I like how you mow them down and kick em out. In the nicest possible way of course.
