best waves on the northern east coast ?

Postby odin » Tue Apr 25, 2006 1:30 pm

I need your advice...

Planning a 3-4 days surfing trip somewhere between the beginning of july, and mid-august.

I live in Montreal and am willing to drive up to 15h (one way trip), this takes me down to Virgina Beach.

Where do you believe will I find the best waves, and party crowd between Virginia Beach and Boston ?

Thanks all !

Hey there and Welcome to the forum...

Having not surfed in that area myself all I can suggest is to look up the main spots listed on www.wannasurf.com

There are a few US members in the forum here so hopefully they can fill you in on the rest.

You probably don't need to go any further south than Cape May, NJ...I havn't been north of MD/DE, but I hear NJ is almost always better...
