zips on board bag???

uhh, this probably sounds like a bit of a stupid question, but on my board bag there is a zip where the fins are... my board has 3 fins, but should i be letting the middle one stick out of the zip? i guess it probably doesn't matter, but i just thought i'd ask in case im doing something wrong, lol

i´m totaly guesing, but this zip could be for single fin boards, where the fin is very big....
i dont think in a three fin board it would make any diference...

yeah okay,
the zip is for like 9 inch thruster fins that dont fit in the bag but with a tri-fin board it doesnt matter, you can unzip it or zip it.
