I will edit your footage into a killer Surf Video with music

Postby bjunod » Tue Apr 11, 2006 8:30 pm

Im a professional editor, looking to make a little extra cash on the side. I will edit your surf footage into surf video with music , effects, and whatever else you would like. You wont beat this offer. I will do it for a flat rate of $50 - $100 depending on how much footage you have and how much footage I have to sift through if your tapes or dvd's are'nt organized.

I hope you are a professional musician as well, making your own music. Or else you might be in trouble for making money of someone elses work.

Man, this place is turning in to spam/ advertising board.

Are you talking about music you made, or music someone else made?

$50-$100??

Its easy enough, and quite fun if you do it yourself.

Um, doing a professional edit can cost thousands of pounds per day just to have access to the equipment

And professional editors charge a lot of money - like the kind of money where you can work one month, and then surf eleven 8)

I highly doubt anyone on this forum would pay a few grand for their surfing footage to be turned into a popcorn blockbuster.

The kind of editing you are thinking of is something else.

Nope, the kind of editting that was being advertised in this post is what I was thinking of ie turning it into an editted DVD, rather than just a bunch of spliced together clips. I realise no-one here is going to be paying squillions of pounds to have some home movie clips lumped together, but if this guy is genuinely a professional editor, then the kit they work on is flesh'-hot

My girlfriend is a photographer/editor - she editted a surf/skate movie last week - she was stoked! :D

Incidentally, Im sure she'd edit surf movies for people in the UK too!

And another thing - yes, music copyright is an utter pain in the @£$!!

But usually there is ways round it, as long as you're not distributing the movie or showing it to an audience.

Yes there are ways around it, but for someone making extra dosh on the side, using copyrighted music to earn it, I just question how professional this kid is.

As far as know, this is a kid was a PA on $30 (a film called $30), and there is no proof that he actually is a pro editor.

For the record: a PA is someone who opens doors for actors, or get 'em water if they are thirsty.

If you are wondering who the hell he is, look here;

http://imdb.com/title/tt0212555/fullcredits

Look for the name Brett Junot.

In which case, if anyone ever wants something editting - filming of a competition for instance - then PM me and we can come to an arrangement for my girlfriend to do it! She's a bit further up the editorial food chain!

(She wont charge squillions, she doesnt do U2 videos.... but she does work for the man that does)

But the guys name is not Junot. The email is bjunod. So he could be B something Junod, or BJ Unod, or even nothing to do with the email addy... :? There is a synthisiser called the Roland Juno D (it is shite tho!), so if he's into music then first name begins with B and he likes Juno Ds...
