magic seaweed for north devon

Hi, i was just wondering that when magic seaweed sais 3.5ft in saunton/croyed/wollocombe, does it mean its going to be that hight surf, because down in bmuf it said 3.5 ft and its gunu b flat, the only time we go out is if it sais its over 6 ft.

Read the site guide... All the hights are based on the NOAA open sea swell models. Thus at every spot, beach conditions will obiviously differ.

3.5ft is the open ocean swell taken from the wave boys you need to take into account the swell direction, swell period, height, wind and a bit of local knowlege to decide weither its worth going, alot of people get magicseaweeds reports wrong becuse they just assume thats what the swell we be at the beach when really all magicseaweed does is supply you with all the raw data in an easyer to read format to allow you to perdict the surf for yourself

well iv got wave predictiong for souuth coast down to a T but i dont go down devon enough to know how it works.

~Thats the trouble I'm solid for North Devon and North Wales. Other places I'm a bit off on but the basics are all the same. Its down to knowing what makes the spots work best and what they can hold etc...
