nsp shortboard

Postby hawaiiSUCKSexceptsurf » Sat Apr 01, 2006 4:48 am

ive always thought of nsp as a novice surfer brand. but i went to a shot and saw nsp shorboards for the first time. other epoxy shortboards cost 500+ but these are around 350. they are a bit more heavy than most epoxy brands, so i was curious to what you fellas think. anyonbe have experience with an nsp shortboard?

when i was looking for a funboard i went to my local surf shop and they tried to sell me an NSP, they just looked cheap and nasty; and not like a proper board at all.

Ended up with a custom from Tim Mellors, its so sweeeeeeeeeeet :D

I rented an NSP mini-mal from the surf shop at Saunton - no complaints, but then I'm a bit of an amateur.

is it harder to take off on waves because of their weight?

i need something durable, it seems like epoxy isnt even strong enough to hold up against my encounters with the reef. i am very tempted to buy one.

i think ill rent one but the size will probably be different.
