DeckGrips a bit pricy

Well guys n girls after endless re sticking my battered deck grip reached the end of its life after it got torn yesterday. So I decided to get a new one after all how much can a bit of foam cost ....
$50 bucks aussie for a creatures deck grip , I nearly died ... I bought it biting my tongue, what baffles me is how they can justify $50 .... talk about rip off.I just hope I dont have get another any time soon.

ps whats the best way to get rid of the old glue ?without out chemicals, Ive tried lemon jucie not much chop..

wax is a cheaper option!

to get rid of glue, leave it in the sun and see if that works..or just use petrol carefully
