artificial wave machines

hi - I wonder if anyone knows of an artificial wave machine in the UK. not sure what they call them, like Wave riders, flow jets...something like waveloch in california. Im under the impression that the closest one in in Holland. anyone have more info on this?

There is also plans or allreay in motion plans for one in Manchester...

Is it just me or did anyone else read the "If you support" section at the bottom of that page. You have to text to support them. Sounds a bit strange to me. But hey i could be wrong. :)
