Donovan Frankenreiter is probably my fav retro surfer just because of his style hes totally origional and does his own thing. The next board I shape is going to be a single fin for sure! Have you ever riden them? What do you like /dislike about them?

i live in east coast canada where from april to late August is take your fish! Alot of people here are surfing kane gardens fat tailed fish "twinzers" style of boards. Ive never tried those either nut I hear they are great for small stuff. I mostly surf a round pin tail thruster but I want to drastically increase my quiver. Here is what i have now:
-6'10" round pin thruster
-7'3" squash tail single fin
-7'6" round pin thruster

I don't really know for sure (never tried one), but I hear a shortboard w/ pin tail & single fin is good for hunting the tube...

No, I havent, the first board I owned was a "spectrum" 6'3" 4 fin fish. That was a board I wish I never sold!!!

i have one but some dumbass covered it (and i mean covered it!) in polyfilla first and then plastic click can paint. so in a few years when ive finished whittling the crap off it im going to surf it. so far ive cleared about a 10cm square of it. but i may be exaggerating that. :!:
