Japan anyone?

aight so my job has me goin to Iwikuni Japan for 15 months....anyone been there? heard anything about it? kind of breaks? spots? any crazy surf ninjas gona go nuts on me at there spots?

There are a ton of breaks in Japan, check out wannasurf.com. From what i've heard, Okinawa is the shizzle dizzle.

Hey Eastcoast4life

I am currently living in Japan and will be heading down your way within a few weeks. There are a number of breaks a few hours drive away on the west coast eg Hamada. Unfortunately Iwakuni is shielded by Shikoku, So there isn't anything to surf there. Shikoku on the other hand happens to be a surf mecca (so I'm told). I have done a bit of research on the matter, but will see for myself shortly.
