fuerteventura surfing - info please.

I'm off to Fuerteventura in April ( on honeymoon). I'm staying in Jandia in the south of the island.

Isn't there supposed to be some decent surfing in the south at La Pared?

Can anyone recommend a surf school that does 1 days tuition. I don't think I'll get away with a 3 day course as 'er indoors will be baby sitting our 6 month old daughter.

There is surf to the south for sure but due to the nature of the geology access, and break type differs consierablly to the north.

Rips are alot stronger and breaks are furter distances apart due to high cliffs.

Thanks for the response. I've just been given the all clear to go up north for 3 days, so I'll head up to El Cottilo. I've scuba dived there about 5 years ago, so know it's ok.

Hi, i can tell u that some freinds of mine had a great week surfing on a charter boat out of Lanza that went to Lobos which i think is close to Feurta. They raved about it. They put there pics on there sponger website called kernowbodyboarding dot whatever.
