What about Maddog Surf Boards?

Postby vitopilot » Mon Jan 12, 2004 12:06 am

I have a couple of days off and want to fly out to Australia, Byron Bay I believe, to buy a board because I was searching sites for different boards and found Maddog surf boards. I like the look and style of their boards. Has anyone heard anything about them? I want to know before I go, it may save me a very, very, very long trip. Thanks

Hey Man,

Let me get this straight. You are proposing to fly all the way to Australia for a couple of days, just to look at/possibly buy a Surfboard?! Isn't that TOTALLY uneconomic. This deserves a huge tyneside:

"CHUFFIN' ECK"

Well that's dedication, and serious cash flow for ya. As far as Maddog boards go, i have heard only good things really,....

Let me tell you Dunc, it has been a dream of mine to fly to Australia, and if you look at my screen name or profile you'll see that when it comes to flying somewhere it's not a problem.... vito PILOT :-) Cash flow.... I wish it was like that but it isn't, it only costs me about $50 U.S dollars to get to Australia.... the beauty of being a pilot.

I thought since I had a couple of days free why not do two things at once.

Thanks for the advice, I think I'll go with Maddog

Oh. Yeah, anyone from Australia....I always see NWS..... what's that mean?

NWS or NSW

Vito, do you mean NSW - New South Wales
A $50 flight to Aus - now that is a perk. You'll probably be inundated with begging posts requesting cheap flights.
I don't really know much about Maddog boards but the trip will probably be worthwhile surfwise anyway.

Def,

I've been looking around on the internet for these boards. Do you know of any web sites I could go to to see some of their boards? Thanks
