Newfoundland Surf

I'll be returning to Newfoundland this summer and thought I'd bring along my surf board to give newfoundland surfing a try. Does anyone know any spots to point me towards? I'll mostly be staying with family in St. John's and Bell Island but I won't be limited to just that region. Any info would be greatly appreciated since online info is pretty much non-existent. Thanks
