is 25 to late

Is it to late for me to really learn how to surf...I have surfed a few times before but I was brought up on calm waters where wakeboarding was my thing. I am now closer to the ocean and want to stay active in the water. What do you think???

Nah, it's never too late. I've been "off the board" for over 35 years and just started back into it this year.

I don't think it's too late. I just started surfing for half of year now. and I'm 28. It's crazy and fun. I guess it depends on how physically fit are you. If you haven't done any exercise for years and now you wish to start surfing. I think it will just take more time to learn. persistence is the key. don't give up.

Are there any similarities between wakeboarding and surfing. If so what are they. I guess I'll pick them up as I go but its still a bit cold to get in the water around here.
