Nice-ish day in Jersey ;)

Postby .Jen. » Mon Feb 13, 2006 7:50 pm

Jersey UK that is, not US

Went down to St Ouens with the dogs today. Havent seen it like this in ages! Apologise for the crap quality, only had my phone with me and the quality aint the best. Will try and get down tomorrow with the digi.

Best thing was - there was nobody out. One guy turned up with his kayak just as I was leaving, and then I saw three cars with boards on pulling into the carpark.

For anyone curious about the Watersplash - the last photo is looking towards it - far right of the pic (again, quality aint brilliant so...)

it was quite messy towards the Splash, loads of mushy crap. Further out it looked good though (if you fancy paddling about half a mile lol)

La Rocco Tower. I have no idea why it was built there though lol, probably a look out or something. Theres loads of towers etc in Jersey that were built around the same time, no idea why though

lol low tide is about a mile out past the tower. Tide was well on its way up then ^^, probably about an hour/hour and a half before high tide.
