Saw Roy down the Mount Main Beach last Tuesday, he paddled out and cleared half the beach straightaway what an arrogant scumbag from the upper north island. What a pink helmet head from the upper north island, what an orange showcase, what a poseur, wavehog and rude gentleman, what an imitation of himself.

I'm speechless

His website is no longer there. Perhaps he has sold that many boards he has retired.

We've just placed another order with him for his organic surf wax - we got some towards the end of last year and it flew out of the door.

Must say - I have a lot of respect for what he is doing with his boards and organic surf products.

Quite often, surfers are walkiing contradictions. Claiming to love the ocean etc but then buying fibreglass surfboards made from blown foam (an incredible environmentally damaging production process) and using bar upon bar of surf wax (petro-chemical derived of course) etc etc.

You have to give Roy credit - at least he is living and breathing what he preaches and if more people had some of his mentality in that respect then we may start to make a difference in protecting these beautiful oceans we all love so much.
