SUMMER SURF TRIP...?

Postby jdsurferdude » Tue Jan 31, 2006 1:08 am

Me and my friends gradute next year (2007) we are trying to set up a sweet and unforgetable trip. We surf so of course a surf trip would be great. We have looked at morro megrito surf camp and it looks instresting and easy enough to where we don't have to worry about much.

so if any one can give us any other places that would be great...and we are trying to have a budget of $2000 a person the max. thank you very much, john

Europe ???

Postby Newsurfer79 » Tue Jan 31, 2006 12:14 pm

Hello...
Well with that sort of budget you could surf around Europe for some time... Start of in France or Portugal... drive around, go looking for waves (Spain & Portugal are probably cheaper for a hire car than France) and maybe even check out the Canary Islands... Fuerteventura gets pretty good... or any of the other islands...
Cross over the atlantic and explore a bit of european culture... I am sure you´ll love it !
Oh and about the surfcamp in Panama... you might want to check out that post of worst surftrip ever...

For a group like yours, wanting to surf, probably party, be at a great place with also lots of things to do and see, Cabarete is perfect. The surfspot Encuentro is great and Cabarete is a surfers village with lots of possibilities to do things, go out and with many young and relaxed people. And the Dominican Republic is a beautiful country with friendly people. You can check our website for more info about Cabarete and Encuentro

hey there

Myself and a mate have a Catarmaran based in Indo and we sometimes take on a few guests, for a minimal fee (just to help us finance the dream that we are presently living). Drop us a line nearer the time on ere_an_there@yahoo.com to find out where we are and what we are up to, for sure it will be somewhere with great waves and most likely in Indonesia.

Whatever it is that you end up doing have a good one!

Given that the name of the poster is the same as the name of the resort I suspect this is complete advertising spam, and I'd want to do some SERIOUS research to make sure that they're telling the truth about the resort, and / or anything else. It may be there's no surf there at all.
